We are delighted to announce that the amazing Lennox Lewis will be one of our special guests.

Lennox has accomplished more in a single boxing career than most people can imagine. He won gold at the 1988 Olympics, which remains the last Olympic gold for Canada. Lewis retired by knockout with an impressive record of 41 wins, 2 losses, 1 draw and 32 wins. In 2009, in his first year of participation, Lewis was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame. He ruled the heavyweight division for nearly 12 consecutive years as the defending, lineal, undisputed, universally recognized and ONLY heavyweight champion in the world.

Lewis’ adopted home of Canada awarded him a CM Member of the Order of Canada, recognizing his lifetime of outstanding achievements, community involvement and service to the nation. His native England honored him with a CBE – Commander in the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, awarded by Queen Elizabeth II. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Wilfrid Laurier University, he received an honorary doctorate. In 2016, he was honored by the WBC by having his image permanently embedded on the WBC Heavyweight Championship belt alongside the permanently embedded image of Muhammad Ali.
