Flintshire Golf Driving Range submits plans for padel courts

The Chester and North Wales Golf Academy is located just off Chester Road in Bretton, near Broughton, and has submitted a planning application to Flintshire Council.

The company is applying for approval to build two additional golf training courts and install three padel courts east of the driving range building.

Padel is a form of tennis that originated in Mexico in 1969 and spread throughout South America before finding its way to Spain. It is now spreading rapidly across Europe and is recognized by the Lawn Tennis Association.
